There were many famous songs of Barrabas available. After seeing Along The Shore, I had to have a good Barrabas cd. While no new Barrabas album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1975 tour in Europe. I wish that “Heart Of The City” album was instrumental.
Some call Checkmate from Heart Of The City as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. I can’t stop playing Family Size. Barrabas has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Barrabas must have run out of lyrics on the next track Make It Easy. Mellow Blow is Barrabas’s best work in years. Take A Wild Ride is excellent and different song. Nice and different song.
