This is one of the best Cd’s Can has dropped to date. There is no doubt that Can has talent. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Can energies, virtually a rebirth. It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Half Past One is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Landed have ended. Hunters and Collectors catches attention immediately, One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Vernal Equinox because the melody in the chorus is so good. What sets Red Hot Indians apart is Can’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Unfinished is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses.
