When you buy a Cannonball Adderley album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Since Cannonball Adderley last CD (Lovers) on EMI Records back in 1975, I have felt a massive void in my life. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Cannonball Adderley energies, virtually a rebirth. Cannonball Adderley is one of my favourite bands of all time.
This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. If you are a Cannonball Adderley fan, you will love Children Of Time. Ayjala pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Only one song from Lovers named Salty Dogs really got me. This song stands out greatly from the others.
