For older fans Atlantic Crossing will put a massive smile accross your face. After seeing Three Time Loser, I had to have a good Rod Stewart cd. Self-described as Rock: Soft Rock with lots of words, Rod Stewart comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Three Time Loser and All Right For An Hour is really good.
A unique and uplifting song. All In The Name Of Rock’n'Roll gives taste of what makes Rod Stewart special as a musician. Drift Away is just simply stunning. Stone Cold Sober good vocals. Musically I Don’t Want To Talk About It is superior to other tracks in Atlantic Crossing. The opening track It’s Not The Spotlight is very much like you would expect from other albums. This Old Heart Of Mine is the most memorable and astounding. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Rod Stewart. Sailing is a excellent song and it grows on you.
