After debuting at No. 1 last week, ZZ Top’s album Fandango falls to No. 2 with 733,000, a sales slide of 75%. Fandango carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of ZZ Top on ‘Thunderbird’. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Fandango.
Jailhouse Rock makes a person feel excellent. Backdoor Medley is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Nasty Dogs and Funky Kings (2:50) a good melody. ZZ Top offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Although Balinese is very melodic it is far from sad. Mexican Blackbird - A strong beat. Still going through Fandango and coming to appreciate Heard It On The X more and more with every listen. Tush gives taste of what makes ZZ Top special as a musician.
