fourteen years ago, Barrabas briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Take It All”. Desperately carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. ‘Desperately’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. This album is in perfect progression from Barrabas!
As always, Barrabas’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. I can’t stop humming along Fire Girl. Album opener Desperately is a bright, upbeat ditty. This song is dynamic and dramatic. Blew our minds when we first heard Sexy Lady. Better Days - My least favorite song on this album. Lay Down On Me is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit.
