On The Tiger of San Pedro album, Bill Watrous have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Since completing 1975’s ‘Dirty D’, Bill Watrous fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. There is no doubt that Bill Watrous has talent. Smart music for smart people.
Quiet Lady as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. The Tiger of San Pedro very upbeat. Somewhere Along Way is almost impossible to review. I listened to the opening track T.S T.S and liked it a lot. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Once Sweet Georgia Upside Down gets in your head, it will NEVER leave.
