It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Demis Roussos energies, virtually a rebirth. This -song debut EP shows the promise that Demis Roussos has. It has been thirteen years Demis Roussos’ last studio CD, “Souvenirs” which won Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Souvenirs touched my soul like nothing else.
It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. I’ll Be Your Friend - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Action Lady is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Demis Roussos has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. I think From Souvenirs To Souvenirs is the best song Demis Roussos has ever done. Music and lyrics of Trying To Catch You creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. White Wings (Asa Branca) is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Overall a nice softer song. I like Names because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Perdoname has a fun tempo.
