Funkadelic was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Funkadelic and Let’s Take It To The Stage together. This album has some very good songs like Good To Your Earhole and Atmosphere. Self-described as Jazz: Funk with lots of words, Funkadelic comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Last Hot Album by Funkadelic
Atmosphere is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Better By The Pound one of the best in my collection. Music in Be My Beach is gorgeous as in all tracks of Let’s Take It To The Stage. I was truly moved when I heard No Head No Backstage Pass. Let’s Take It To The Stage has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Get Off your Ass And Jam is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Let’s Take It To The Stage have ended. Baby I Owe You Something Good is probably one of Funkadelic’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Funkadelic is one of artists that allow his songs like Stuffs & Things to stand on their own and be heard. This track is just fantastic from start to finish.
