Now signed to Inti-Illimani’s Sparrow Records, the title track from second album “Hacia La Libertad” leads Inti-Illimani’s back-to-school campaign. one years ago, Inti-Illimani briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “La Patria Prisionera”. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Inti-Illimani’s album Hacia La Libertad falls to No. 2 with 924,000, a sales slide of 59%. Inti-Illimani is one of my favourite bands of all time.
This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Inti-Illimani offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Cancion A Victor. Ciudad Ho-Chi-Minh - I just love it. Chiloe the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Inti-Illimani is one of artists that allow his songs like Cai Cai Vilu to stand on their own and be heard. Canto A Los Cados actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Inti-Illimani’s face.
