Since completing 1975’s ‘The Champion Version (King Tubby and Friends)’, Reggae - Various Artists fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. [1975] - Dub Gone Crazy carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Reggae - Various Artists on ‘The Champion Version (King Tubby and Friends)’. This is my first Reggae - Various Artists Album and i must say i am blown away.
Once Satta Dread Dub (King Tubby and Friends) gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Real Gone Crazy Dub (King Tubby and Friends) has a fun tempo. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Reggae - Various Artists sings Dreada Version (King Tubby and Friends) in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Musically Dub Skeem (Lee Scratch Perry & Bullwackie) is superior to other tracks in [1975] - Dub Gone Crazy. Strange Dub (Lee Scratch Perry & Bullwackie) is one of these floating songs. Bog Walk Skanking (Lee Scratch Perry & Bullwackie) is amazing work of Reggae - Various Artists. Undercover Dub (Lee Scratch Perry & Bullwackie) is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Reggae - Various Artists ever produced. In Stop Stop Dub (Lee Scratch Perry & Bullwackie) Reggae - Various Artists spins a tale you want to hear to the end. Moving In Dub (Lee Scratch Perry & Bullwackie) is one of my favorite songs by Reggae - Various Artists. Voice and instruments in Dub Master (Lee Scratch Perry & Bullwackie) complement each other.
