Revolution Dub is an amazing album, racked with beauty. Now signed to Reggae - Various Artists’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “Revolution Dub” leads Reggae - Various Artists’s back-to-school campaign. Revolution Dub carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Reggae - Various Artists is one of my favourite bands of all time.
I find myself hearing bits of Woman’s Dub (Lee Scratch Perry & Upsetters) here and there throughout my waking hours. Kojak (Lee Scratch Perry & Upsetters) is the albums biggest surprise. Doctor on the Go (Lee Scratch Perry & Upsetters) make listening to Reggae - Various Artists like being in some sort of time warp. Bush Weed (Lee Scratch Perry & Upsetters) is a strong cut, one of many. Reggae - Various Artists rocks harder than ever with Dreadlock Talking (Lee Scratch Perry & Upsetters). Own Man (Lee Scratch Perry & Upsetters) - This is a very lively song. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Dub the Rhythm (Lee Scratch Perry & Upsetters), which shows, blatantly, how much Reggae - Various Artists has evolved as a singer. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create.
