It’s natural for The Average White Band to take a stab at ‘The Spirit Of Love’ considering her long-professed love for East 17. The Average White Band’s debut, ‘Aftershock’, does not fit easily into one genre. Self-described as Pop with lots of words, The Average White Band comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about The Average White Band ever.
Music in Sticky Situation is exquisite as in all tracks of Aftershock. Aftershock is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Love At First Sight because the melody in the chorus is so good. I’ll Get Over You as a highlight of Aftershock contains a ton of astounding melodies. Strong, powerful vocals of The Average White Band in Later We’ll Be Greater are very impressive. Let’s Go All The Way is probably the most interesting track on Aftershock. You have to get essence of the We’re In Too Deep’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Stocky Sachoo-A-Shun is the most memorable and amazing.
