I am not a real Jazz music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Lotus (CD 1)’ really is amazing. Lotus (CD 1) isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Lotus (CD 1) is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Last Hot Album by Santana Band
Some of the arrangements found on Lotus (CD 1) are surprisingly edgy. Every Step Of The Way is almost impossible to review. Black Magic Woman is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Gypsy Queen is Santana Band’s best work in years. Oye Como Va is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. After about the third Yours Is The Light listen through, I began to believe this song is Santana Band’s essence. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Xibaba is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. I believe Waiting is one of the most marvelous, heartfelt songs ever written. Castillos De Arena, Part 1 is a striking and quite long song. Santana Band offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Simply the finest work ever from this multi-talented singer.
