The Chieftains had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. I am not a real Reggae music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Barry Lyndon’ really is amazing. There were many famous songs of The Chieftains available. One of The Chieftains’s best albums yet.
Music in Women of Ireland The Chieftains is excellent as in all tracks of Barry Lyndon. Piper’s Maggot is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Tin Whistles is probably the most interesting track on Barry Lyndon. British Grenadiers gives taste of what makes The Chieftains special as a musician. Hohenfriedberger March - For me, this is the best of the album. Lilliburlero - The Chieftains first major hit. This track is full of harmonies and gets Barry Lyndon off to a relaxing start. March From Idomeneo - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Sarabande-Duel can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what The Chieftains is all about. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. German Dance No. 1 in C-Major has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. After you’ve listened to Sarabande-Duel, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Il Barbiere Di Siviglia is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. The sound in Cello Concerto in E-Minor is really warm and The Chieftains’s signature voice is still very much present. Concerto For Two Harpsichords And Orchestra In C-Minor is a medium tempo tune. I find myself hearing bits of Piano Trio In E-Flat here and there throughout my waking hours. This track is just a stunning masterpiece.
